Captains Creek Organic Wines is a warm, welcoming venue, where four generations of the May family have worked the land since 1909. The cellar door, set in a restored workers’ hut, invites you to sip certified organic wines and ciders, and enjoy generous grazing platters for lunch featuring local produce – grown, bred, and baked right in the region. Located just 10 minutes drive from both Creswick and Daylesford.

The Commercial Hotel is a proud commercial partner of the Creswick Garden Lovers Weekend.
The hotel is the 3rd hotel on the same site originally built in the1800's as a weather board structure, the 2nd hotel was destroyed by fire in 1904 the hotel was then rebuilt as a 17 roomed brick hotel, it traded as a hotel for over 120 years and then closed for 12 years before a sympathetic restoration by the current owners brought this grand old lady back to life.
We offer our customers a wide range of options.
Cold Beer on tap, an extensive wine list for lovers of good wine, coffee & a lunch & dinner menu, woodfired pizza every Friday night, an inhouse gallery and providore, live music & accommodation.
Our rear beer garden has manicured hedges, established trees, 3 dimensional metal garden art and lots of little nooks perfect for a quiet moment to reflect over a cold beer, glass of wine or scones jam & cream and a nice cup of tea or barista made coffee.

The Sensory Garden at the end of Peacock (opposite our Café) will again be open. Two years on from its first redevelopment, we have recently incorporated the sense of sound with the installation of a beautiful fountain to the dementia garden, gifted to us by the Creswick Garden Club.

Lucky Monkey Blacksmith
Shop 5, 38 Albert Street, Creswick
I create a variety of metal works using predominantly blacksmithing techniques, with a forge, hammers and anvil. My work consists of mostly nature based themes, leaves and branches, tree shapes, that come from spending some years in forests as a fire-fighter, as well as exploring them. The themes are present in most of my work which ranges from garden gates, screens, candelabra, hooks and smaller sculptures.

Miss Northcott's Garden is a boutique nursery nestled in the Main Street of Creswick beside Creswick Flowers, and has a superb range of beautiful, locally grown potted plants to suit all gardens. There is also a fantastic assortment of rusty garden art, terracotta statues, pots, and other garden ornaments. The shop also has a great range of indoor plants and giftware. Overwrought Sculpture Garden and Gallery is an inspiring creative retail enterprise set on five acres of lush farmland in Blampied, Central Victoria just eight minutes from Daylesford on the Midland Highway to Ballarat. Artist David Dawson creates his uniquely Australian sculptural metalwork designs in his extensive workshop. He then displays them next door in the rustic hay-shed gallery and beautifully landscaped garden setting that he has created. His creations include garden art, native Australian animals and birds, furniture, wall art, magnetic creatures, privacy screens and much more. The gallery also offers the art and produce of thirty local and fair trade artisans, many whose work is not available to purchase elsewhere. For your enjoyment Overwrought provides toilets, coffee, drinks and ice creams and picnicking areas. Extensive parking is available for all vehicles including caravans and buses. The kids can even feed our fish in our garden ponds and pat an alpaca or two.

Stroll through our nursery and gardens in Eganstown, only a 15-minute drive from Creswick. We are central Victoria's largest specialist rose nursery and offer hundreds of varieties alongside a huge range of our other two specialties: peonies and hydrangeas. We also stock a wide variety of other perennials, shrubs and garden plants.
